About Me
I am wrapping up my time as an Master of Accountancy student at Western Carolina University. My only professional work experience has been within the accounting sphere, and while I by no means hate the field, I want to develop skills that will give me a solid foundation that I can use to find work in other fields. In order to branch out my professional capabilities, I decided to dedicate my last semester at Western to two Entrepreneurship courses, an area of expertise in which I am far from being an expert.

Career Aspirations
It is difficult to feel excitement within the realm of accounting. Some may say that the two concepts are diametrically opposed, and rightly so. However, the first time I remember feeling excited about the field was the moment I realized that accountants who work with movie production companies are included right at the end of movie credits. Ever since having the revelation, I have spent quite a bit of time researching how exactly I can find work in this space.
